Background & Style
Paula commenced her career as a social worker in London having completed a Social Sciences degree in Dublin.
Further study in Organisational Dynamics (Graduate Diploma in Organisation Behaviour) ignited a passion for understanding workplace behaviours, the challenges and potential solutions that can embody positive, productive workplaces.
A move to The Body Shop led to twelve fruitful years employment that included the instructional design and implementation of a national leadership training program that continues to enjoy international success, establishing a mentor program and facilitating countless workshops across all levels of the business. In addition to the training/facilitating role, Paula’s success as coach, mentor, conflict mediator, values/social audit advisor and counsellor was well respected within the organisation.
Paula left The Body Shop to set up her own consultancy business and brings to management and leadership development over 30 years experience as a leader of teams, a facilitator of leadership development and a reflective, insightful approach to positive interaction. She currently works as a leadership development facilitator/ coach and her success comes from a very natural ability to build rapport and trust, encourage self-reflection and focus on practical empowering actions that ensure long term positive behavioural change outcomes.
She is particularly passionate about encouraging others to develop greater self- awareness, reflect on their strengths and limiting behaviours and develop a mindful “can do” approach to achieving success in all areas of life. Her underpinning philosophy is based on encouraging the development of growth mindsets and building resilience knowing that people are empowered when there is openness, enthusiasm, authenticity and a commitment to lifelong learning.
